The way I found out about Jeffrey Star was, I was 15ish and very obsessed with AFI. And I was being a teenager and finding photos of Davey Havok to decorate my book. I saw a photo of Davey Havok with Jeffrey Star and I found him on MySpace. And I think I was supportive of him because of the anopologetic genderfuckery (I think his MySpace profile was the first time I'd heard of that term). But when I think back to those posts and also the stuff he does/says now, it's not even surprising.
