Bc he continues to out sell every other rapper out there and in my opinion, smacked Kendrick around in the battle too. Kendrick has the culture on his side so everybody went against drake…I find it funny how people say drake got washed, when he came with punch after punch and came back quick…and this coming from a guy who’s never really listened to or been a fan of drake. They’re versatile story tellers and use plenty of different sounding music but they’re flow and cadence are not diverse they kinda make all those different sounding instrumentals sound the same by having rapping in the same inflection It’s hard to describe and I try to like it - but it just makes me not relisten

I personally feel like Tory has kind of a stale flow - like it’s the same flow every time he raps and he’s only got 1 pocket, 2 if you count that he can speed it up but still do the same cadence and rides the beat the same. If he really want to go at Kendrick he’s gonna have to show a myriad of styles and cadences. He’s just making the same verses over and over again (just like Joyner Lucas)
