Idunna & Toundra [Lost]
🕑 Added 2024-07-28 19:18:44 +0000 UTCI finally found a style that I like! I tried to give a cinematic side to the drawing so that it looks a little more real.
For a little more context, when Idunna faces strong emotions (fear, anger, joy) she often loses control of her magic. That’s one of the reasons why she doesn’t necessarily express herself as she wants to. To calm down she just isolates herself waiting for her emotions to settle down. But after literally one night alone in the forest, Toundra became worried and went looking for her.
I can’t say what happened but you’ll find out soon in the next episodes! This drawing helped me to decide which mood and atmosphere I would choose to represent the chapter.

I also tend to isolate when my emotions are volatile. I'm glad Toundra is around to offer her solace. It means a lot to have someone in your corner, you know? It's interesting seeing Toundra illuminated in that dark purple light since her colour palette is more warm earthy tones. She and Idunna are so contrasted but they fit so well! I like the tone of the scene too. Glad you figured that out! Very excited for the next chapters :D
