That’d only get me 30 GP. Golemcrafter saves me 10 MP per second and slightly buffs the Creator Puppet… will probably be the most useful.’
There was a few other things to keep in mind as well. Metracana Master was just about to max out, so that would be another flood of Perks he would have to deal with in the next 24 hours. He opened the Achievement Store for a moment, just to look at it.
‘Hmmm, I have enough points to buy a level up… that’s a thing to keep in mind,’ John told himself. Buying a level with GP was, broadly speaking, wasteful spending. What did make buying the level attractive was that it effectively served as an immediate, full refill on his HP and MP. “I don’t know if ‘lab equipment’ is the right word for all of your utensils,” John challenged.
“Yeah!” Delicia agreed, loudly. “I told you! I am the one with the lab! All of you are second rate researchers at best!”

After a short moment, the seer in her ashen dress did so. “The vision the Lady has granted me is sharper than ever and I consider your lack of enchanters under your direct control concerning. The Order’s arms are forged within the Order itself, only the raw ore is ever acquired from the outside. If I may say so, I believe you should be capable of only relying on our blessed sorority for all your earthly and spiritual needs.”
“You believe you can become an enchanter so capable I won’t have to reach out to anyone else ever again?” John asked.
“I have foreseen that I may contribute to the creation of all you may ever need, beloved John.” Lorelei blushed a little at those words. “My second sight is more eager to show me the future than ever and the streams of magic are open to me now. With the correct training, I believe I shall be able to bind and shape magic like the finest calligraphy. A touch on raw materials shall let me ordain the path the Lady has chosen for them. I will peek towards the future, find their full potential, and bring that full potential into our present.”
“Sounds fucking impressive,” Scarlett put into words what John was thinking, “and we gave it some basic test runs already. We decided to use this month to push ourselves. Lorelei is picking up general enchantment, Lee is taking over spatial ones, Hailey wants to pick up smithing, Delicia will see to it that we have all the materials we need for the projects, and I’ll coordinate everything and help out with the assembly.” The technomancer stopped for a moment and caught a box of cigarettes that were flying her way.
“But do not smoke indoors!” Claire shouted across the room, while she removed the shredded remains of Scarlett’s clothing from the room.
Scarlett clicked her tongue, holding the box of cigarettes in one hand and the choker in the other. The cigarettes ended up in her pocket dimension. “Point is, we’ve decided to use a shared workshop this time around to test whether we can work together on this. I also roped in our two goddesses as support staff.”
John was speechless for a bit. “You girls really are too good for me,” he told them. They had coordinated all of this without him. It wasn’t exactly a surprise; his haremettes did things without his knowing or influence all the time. It was pleasant news, though, to hear that they were working on increasing the self-sufficiency of the harem and of using their newfound Stats to cultivate skills that would serve all of them well.

All of the ideas behind it were sound. Lorelei could see into the future of objects. To use that ability to take raw materials and find the greatest variant of an item those materials could be turned into was likely straining beyond all reason. An unworked block of stone could be turned into all manners of statues, the number of possibilities was infinite. It wouldn’t be any easier for metal.
That way laid madness for the regular seer. Lorelei was far above them now. If she could combine this capacity with her ability to see the flow of mana in the entire world around her, then she would certainly become a legendary enchanter.
Hailey, similarly, had understanding of the structure of things that had now expanded far beyond the realm of mundane genius. She was a power-levelled Latebloomer. If she couldn’t pick up smithing, she could probably design some absurd machine that did the smithing for her.
Those two would be the core of these operations, and with the other three, there’d be very little they couldn’t do. Scarlett had years of experience coordinating complicated cooperative efforts and, what Lorelei pulled from the future, she could put onto a blueprint. Her usefulness through remote technical operation was above even that.
Lee’s knack for spatial magic would help either with one of the most difficult variants of enchantments or her Fateweaving would provide the kinds of environments needed for the most complicated of magical smithing and refinement processes.
Delicia could provide any material she could transmute as well as oils and brews to treat materials in all kinds of ways.
What Delicia couldn’t provide, what materials were so rare and magically enriched that no transmutation could properly replicate them, the presence of two goddesses likely could make up for. If they couldn’t, the six supremely powerful elementals were also there. Oh, and all the material drops John got from his Instant Dungeons.
The Gamer repeatedly nodded to himself, as he played all of this out in his mind. “If you need any support for any of this, do let me know,” he told them. “Because, if you can pull this off, it would be invaluable.”
“How about you start by fucking railing me?” Scarlett asked, arms crossed. John just smugly pointed with his chin at the choker in her hand. The rules were clear.
“We actually need you, the real you, to come over after we get set up,” Delicia half confessed, half demanded. “We had something planned, but… eh, you’ll see.”
“Interjection: the loading of the fridge has concluded,” Beatrice stepped into the circle. “Suggestion: we should move on to…”
“Making the workshop, yes, urgh, we were all waiting for you, slowpoke!” Delicia sassily poked the passive maid in the side.
“…constructing the workshop,” Beatrice finished her sentence anyway.
