The discussion of shit-sandwich and something like Serial-position effect (I should get more accurate in describing cognitive biases, but, boy have they proliferated in the last 20-odd years!) was very cool -- I will look forward to seeing if you carry through with this as I progress in chronological order through the content. It is a little crazy how susceptible to some of these things we as humans seem to be -- and sometimes it seems benign -- "remember when giving feedback to start with something positive" -- but sometimes so dark -- insert Scott Adams talking about anything here (and of course all the pick-up "artists"). I have long wondered how/whether one can inoculate oneself to such things -- and also whether they really have so much power in the real world? The paranoid version would be that studying such effects would give one the equivalent to black magic -- or make one immune to it -- is this the case?

OK, this feels a bit like addictive behavior, now, as I dig back through all the scraps of varied content (always aware that there is more if I ascend the ranks of patrons - i.e., opt for one of the higher grades - right?) -- but even in this far corner you manage to produce something off-the-cuff that is actually worth listening to! Thanks for that, I struggled through that one with you. Last time I tried listening to Dark-horse they were having those technical difficulties, Brett troubleshooting was the same vibe, certainly non-expert advice.
