Update on next Decoding episode
🕑 Added 2023-10-28 04:47:07 +0000 UTCJust a quick note to say we are in the process of finishing off an episode we previously planned as a Decoding Academia. We are covering Peter Attia and Andrew Huberman and a recent episode they covered discussing two studies.
It is fair to say that we find them a mixed bag and Attia definitely comes out ahead in this conversation in terms of scientific rigour.
We have a little bit more to record but have already started editing the episode so hopefully will be ready early next week. We will post up here first when prepared enough for consumption.
Just wanted to give an update!

Could you post the episodes that you will be covering, so that we can listen to them in advance?
Kgar
Me too. Looking forward to it!

I've listened to both of these snoozers quite a bit. Super keen to hear where they sit on the Gurometer.

That is a rather gentle grilling.

I was wondering if you heard the episode of Science Vs. in which Huberman appears for an interview. The host, Wendy Zuckerman, gives him a gentle grilling in which she pushes back on a few issues regarding his supplements, the Covid lab leak and vaccines. https://gimletmedia.com/shows/science-vs/rnhobned

Yep it’s a full length decoding so they both go in.

Are you going to do a gurometer episode with this?

What am I saying. I’ll never finish grading these papers. Anyone want to be my TA???
Linda Sears
Thanks for the update! Maybe I'll finish grading all my papers by then and can enjoy basking in the wealth of insights these two great minds have to offer us mere mortals.

Can't wait :D

Yes! Looking forward to this. I’ll be sure to be in the brightest day light possible at 7am drinking Ionised Nutrient Water.tm next to a plant whilst listening to it. It’s not even worth listening to podcasts indoors, as your cognitive health is so poorly impacted by not being constantly ionised and witnessing nature’s glorious random squirrels.
