I'm not sure if Huberman knows how sacrilegious it is to say anything bad about cannabis in the Roganverse. My guess is if he did know he'd have kept his mouth shut and it could be part of the reason why he's now so eager to change his stance.

The qualified scientist should definitely go on Huberman's show but only once Huberman has given a retraction to most-or-all of the scientifically false information that he has stated in the episode in question. Once the retraction has been given, the guest-actual-scientist and Huberman can have a conversation starting from a more equal playing field. Otherwise, you're entering the Lions Den, asking him to give you time to discuss with him why he shouldn't eat you.

Pretty sure Editor Andy photoshopped that in.

That Dick Can Dyke pic in the description. Did he pose for that? I think there’s a sub-genre on some media personalities adopting an English persona. Andy Ngo being the most obvious example.

It just struck me (ow!) that a really interesting area of research might be the effects on para-social vs social relationships with educators on information retention. I enjoy lectures and audiobooks, but when my mind is wandering I have to switch to a podcast, which often have dubious information / learning merit, but my attention can immediately follow them. Obviously there's the impact on conversation / debate, etc, but I wonder if it's simply easier to 'learn' from people you feel like you are implicated in social rapport with?
