Their entire rhetorical strategy was constructed around the Sleepy Joe meme so now they're panicking and desperately grasping at straws

Amazing, there it popped up in the feed, indeed!

Correct!

Brett introduces himself as "Dr" Bret Weinstein - in my experience PhD's rarely use their honorific unironically, I've gone years without realising colleagues had a physics\math doctorate. Usually, people who insist on using "Dr" are god awful and a nightmare to work with. Not sure if this is the same in universities?

Methinks that these “centrists” are just upset that Trump has a stronger opponent in Harris

I think the videos are all taken from audio podcasts that have already been released. I believe this was a supplementary materials episode.

He's been parotting idw stuff to me for 4 years. Originally brought up Bret saying 90% chance of lab leak

I laughed. I cried. I threw a rock.

How did Bret come up?
James Lucas
My boss is the penultimate tech bro and unironically believes Bret is galaxy brained

‘Too distasteful to analyse’.

Will this be available on the patreon podcast feed too?

I was a huge Twilight, Shades of Grey, Dan Brown and Jodi Picoult fan until I went to the Asda bestsellers festival and had my sense of self irreparably shattered

Well I'm not a post doc so don't say that! I was enjoying feeling clever by osmosis
Christopher Kavanagh
Post docs aren't paying attention to Bret and David Sacks I don't think. Just us...

The thing that really buggers up my worldview is that Bret Weinstein and Elon Musk are both Hitchhikers fans. I just don't see how you can be someone who gets that humour and finds this conspiratorial worldview attractive.

The phrase 'gossip magazine for post-docs' keeps coming back to me since the Elgen Strait episode. TMZ for nerds, indeed.
