super late but i took a huge break from wrestling but came back in large part bc mania was in philly near where i live so i could go. this was the first singles match ive ever seen from either uso. i texted my friend mid match “this is hilarious do they just kick each other??” i didn’t comprehend how bad what i was watching was. sami gunther changed my life though so worth easily

I was at mania 40 and we did in fact chat “dude wipes” during this match. During the Logan/R-KO match we chanted “H20” “Gatorade” and my personal favorite “beer”

I have a huge issue with the usos as singles. 1. Both of their move sets is IDENTICAL. Especially watching Jey. He has super kick, somoan drop, hit attack, splash and a AWFUL spear. He does almost nothing else and it's just boring as hell to watch. I'm enjoying Big Jim more than YEET at the moment before mania.

I migh be bias, because I'm a pretty huge Kairi/Asuka fan, but seeing there being multiple occasions of Damage Control being 1v3'd by either Bianca or Jade - baring in mind the Kabuki Warriors were the tag champs at the time, just... really annoyed me. I haaated the booking of that match, because I didn't feel it made Bianca or Jade look strong, it just made the Damage Control trio look real weak.

I didn't think the Damage Control match was too bad, but it was far from the potential those performers could've gotten to. Had to make Jade look good I guess. Testament v The Pride I didn't mind too much because Snoop Dogg on commentary made me laugh, but the actual match itself was probably worse than Uce vs Uce.

Yeah, pretty sure Sami saying it was him trying to imitate Jey saying "Yee," like a different style of yes or yeah, allegedly which Jey fell into saying when he drank too much.

This might be controversial but I don't think this is even in my 3 worst matches of this wrestlemania. The Final Testement vs The Pride, the US Title Triple Threat, and my personal least favourite, Damage Control vs Bianca & co, were less enjoyable to watch. Definitely wasn't a great match, but I don't think it's as bad as people make out. Absolutely nowhere near the worst wrestlemania match ever.

My main issue with this match is that as a tag team, Jimmy and Jey are amazing! High energy, fun spots, and working well together. This match had none of those things and it really needed them. I don't hate the match, I am just disappointed that they didn't shine they way they can.

as someone who attended mania, it didn't help them tha 1) it was freezing out so the last thing anyone wanted to do was throw their arms out to yeet 2) the lights were on pointing in the crowd, so a lot of the crowd couldn't see very well 3) DUDE WIPES IS SO MUCH EASIER TO CHANT THAN BOTH YEET AND NO YEET

The Tribal combat at Summerslam sent people to sleep, this match is a farce, Jeys entire year after has been basically the same stuff... I am happy for Jey's current push because he clearly works hard but good lord. This man has less animations than a Mortal Kombat 1 character.
