This update advances the main questline as you work to free Trix from custody. Getting her out means cooperating with Aegis to help them finish what they started - completely erasing AVA from existence. It's a devil's bargain that AVA understandably won't appreciate, but desperate times call for uncomfortable alliances.
If you've acquired female clothing to disguise yourself as Maria, you'll need to wait until the next release when that infiltration opportunity becomes available (entirely optional, but with consequences).
