[0.9] - Progress Report #3

Hope you’ve all had a fantastic week!
I know I haven’t been posting much lately, and the progress percentage updates have slowed down a bit (mostly because I underestimated the amount of renders and coding required for these final scenes of the update) but rest assured, I’ve been working hard on the game!
Here’s a new progress report to let you know that everything’s still right on track!

If you’ve been reading my previous posts, you probably already know about the setbacks we ran into this cycle (first with the music, then with the payment processor censorship) so I won’t bore you with all that again today.
I just really want to thank you all for the comments you left on the Progress Report #2 post. Reading your messages honestly meant the world to me. Knowing you’ve got my back helped me a lot during a rough moment, and it really eased my anxiety ❤️❤️❤️

Thankfully, things have been going a lot smoother lately, and I’ve been able to work on the update without any major hiccups!
Just yesterday, I fully finished the third lewd scene for this update, which means there’s only one left! (As you know, there’ll be 4 full H-scenes in version 0.9). After that, I just need to wrap up a few remaining story sections and the ending of the update. Once all that’s done, all that'll be left will be the polishing and proofreading phase!
Here are the current stats at the moment of me writing this report:
1,774 renders
66 animations
18,000 lines of code
All of these already fully coded, with transitions and music integrated!
If you compare it to the previous update, you’ll notice this one already has more renders and more lines of code than version 0.8, which was already huge. And there’s still plenty left to do, so it’s now almost guaranteed that this update will surpass 2,000 renders by the time it’s done!
I know you guys have been waiting for quite a while, and I can tell you now that the next update after this one will be smaller (which means a shorter development time too).
That said, the amount of content in this update definitely won’t disappoint! You can expect several hours of new content at an average reading pace. This update has it all: funny moments, epic fights, emotional scenes, shocking revelations, and of course... plenty of romantic and SPICY moments with your favorite girls 😌

If all goes well, I'm aiming for a release in December (at least for the highest tiers, you know there's always a couple or three weeks of early access before the public release). It’s not set in stone yet, but I’m feeling confident that I’ll be able to finish everything by then if nothing happens!
Even if I go quiet for a bit, remember that I read every single comment you leave and reply to every DM you send (even if it sometimes takes me a few days)!

Nothing could make me more excited to hear about an update in December when I literally found out about this game in December and binged it for 4 days. This game is amazing and I can't wait to see what more you put out. Thank you for a story that not only made me laugh out loud multiple times, but that literally made me cry. In a freaking porn game. I have developed a habit of checking the Progress report daily and simply cannot wait for the update to arrive! On the other hand it is better for overall experience to leave this art piece to flower, than to irattionaly push for it. Caribdis, you have developed a thing of magic here! :)

wow , new report ! can't wait for 0.9 ! I recommended eternum to my friend couple weeks ago , but uhh ... seems like he wasn't really into this sort of game though he has played for about half a day . what a shame :( only thing he told me was that he likes Annie so much . cause he's really into the childhood friend type . (same as me :) anyway i'll always keep supporting you !

Cari never disappoints with his progress reports ! Like everyone said, taking your time making these updates the way you envision them to be is crucial. It really shows your passion for this project, and it we can feel through our own gameplay. I’ve caught myself laughing multiple times while playing (even after a couple of replays) and shocked by the plot twists you input into this story. Keep going, we’ll always back you up ! 🙌🏻
