Sorry for the slight delay on this post, I was prioritizing the update itself, which, as you’ll probably be delighted to hear, won’t be delayed!
0.9 is finally upon us!
I know it probably feels like I have been repeating the same thing a thousand times throughout the year… but let us sum it up one last time 🤩
This is a big update, even bigger than 0.8. It includes four new fully animated lewd scenes featuring different girls from our harem, thousands of new dialogue lines, new songs, new adventures, new gameplay mechanics, and much more!

I will share the exact numbers in two days when the changelog goes live, but as you can see, it's a big update, at least compared to my usual standards. Next updates will be slightly smaller (and with a shorter dev time too).
You know I love packing each update with a wide variety of scenarios, and 0.9 is no exception. (Mild spoilers ahead.) If you remember the ending of 0.8, we were transported to Hyril’ar with Calypso after our battle against Thanatos, so a significant portion of this update takes place there. Fortunately, the elves will surely be thrilled to see their princess returned safely in the arms of a human. So there is absolutely nothing to worry about.
…Right? 😃
We will also spend plenty of time back in Kredon, including lots of slice-of-life moments, funny scenes, cozy interactions, and more romantic bonding moments with your favorite girls. It will even be around Christmas in the game (isn’t it fitting? 🤩), but make sure you don't forget about your ultimate goal either… because our enemies certainly never do...
Will you be able to handle everything without losing any of the girls’ affection along the way?

This year has not been an easy one.
Aside from some personal matters I would rather not go into, there was the music licensing issue at the beginning of the year, which forced me to replace a large portion of the game’s soundtrack. That was especially hard for me, as music means a great deal in my work, and I truly would not have managed without the help of the community.
On top of that, itch.io temporarily removed adult games from its catalog during a wave of censorship (caused by payment processors) aimed at anything labeled as adult content. That uncertainty added yet another layer of stress to an already difficult period.
I struggle with anxiety at times, and this year has been particularly challenging. Those of you who deal with it (or depression) will understand that it is not always rational, yet it can make it really difficult to be functional.
Even within such a small and niche space like AVNs, the more visibility you gain, the greater the expectations become. More opinions, more criticism, more fear of not living up to what people hope for. I fully understand that everyone wants the game they love to go in a certain direction, but it is impossible to satisfy every expectation.
I always try my best to improve, to stay productive, to create the best thing I can, but in the end I'm still the same guy, and I know my limits.
I hope you guys always continue playing the game with the same spirit I had when I first started: to laugh, to get to love the characters, and above all, to simply enjoy the adventure despite its flaws.
As for me, I can only feel grateful for the community I have. Every comment, every message, and every show of support means more than I can ever express. When I say at the end of my posts that you are the best, those are not just words. I truly mean it.

WHEN UPDATE???
Well, I am happy to announce that everything went according to plan during this final stretch, so… YES! IT'S THIS WEEK! 🤩🤩🤩
As usual, I will be posting the final changelog and the final release dates for each tier in a single post soon (probably this Wednesday). There is still some work left to do, but the plan is to release the update for Demon Lord tier this FRIDAY 26th, right after Christmas! After that, there will be a few weeks of early access following the schedule for the different tiers, like always.
So now more than ever, STAY TUNED FOR THE DEFINITIVE CHANGELOG IN TWO DAYS!

Ouh yeah looking forward to this now! I didn't want to play until this game was fully finished but tbh, I don't want to wait hahah Will upgrade to master tier to be able to start this now on a lovely sunday ;) And hopy you'll tease your next game again by the and of Eternum!! Cause I'd love to play more of your games. Again, after Once Upon A Time I did not expect this huge jump to Eternum but dang what a crazy cool game and crazy upskill you've done in just those two games. So excited to see what's next even - doesn't have to be another huge jump but think that whatever comes out of your mind will be great and enjoyable to play ;)

Man, I support you because you are one of the absolute best AVN storytellers out there. You do great work; take it where you will and I will follow. **Unless you do a Season 8 GoT and throw away whole character arcs. But you're a storyteller, so you won't do that. :D

I'm just truly amazed of your work at all, and I don't have any expectations, it is your work, your imagination, your world, I and everyone who plays your games are part of them. I know the feeling of satisfying everyone because I make maps for games I like and unfortunately it is impossible to do that, but I really wish that even with every personal and work-related problems you have, you will still be able to make games, no matter what the genre is, to make your fantasy real. I truly feel touched because of how deep the characters are, I see them as human with pure emotions. With all the ups and downs you are still able to make what you feel is the best and with all the common flops in the gaming industry nowadays, your game has more soul, passion and value than most of them. I wish you the best along your journey, rest as much as you need and I hope you will have fun in the making of the next patch. :)
