They are yet to be released and I think the Americans are getting it first but they a shade off $1500.
If i've been a good girl I might consider getting one.
On a serious note blender works far better as one unit with split compartments rather than two instances. more FPS when animating.

I use one at normal work which is about $900 LG one, which they are very useful for blender (I use blender at work too). So the benefits are there. it is a large amount of money though so when other things are bought I will consider it.
I have tried a ultra wide monitor before, but for some reason I still prefer running two seperate 1920x1080's, it does not improve what I do that much either. And yeah, you definitely diserve all the nice things ^_^

Hoo boy. Thats a mighty finy pc screen. Its almost wide enough to show both ends of that magazine in the rifle.
