I Did a thing! But cant yet upload it.
🕑 Added 2018-04-26 21:40:53 +0000 UTC So the plan was to make the image and put it onto a micro sd card and then put that into my phone then upload. But my micro sd card reader is being a jerk and wont work! So here is proof I did a thing! But will have to go pick up a micro sd to usb stick tomorrow and bypass this crap reader. Been in touch with the fibre broadband guys and they have said I should be online from the 1st of next month. Fingers crossed or I will start throwing flaming bags of crap at there head office. Side note things have settled down now and things are falling into place, having the ups and downs but working on this image today has actually really helped. Onward and upward I say! Director.

might be a desktop w/o a wifi card, in that case, a hotspot is not very useful if it can't pick up the wireless frequency, otherwise a good idea

Basically every smartphone has a wired tether mode.. go-to settings after plug in USB to desktop and turn on wired tether. Internet will be sent to desktop.. bit if you don't turn on metered mode on the desktop with win10 it will download updates and eat your mobile data usage

Other idea is to tether internet to desktop using a USB cable from phone to desktop. Make sure if using win10 to turn on metered mode.. google that!

Best thing I ever brought was a double sided usb memory stick.. Normal PC USB and micro USB in the one memory stick allows me to fastly transfer . Great for Android.. iPhone is more trouble tho

But how do you do that with no internet on the desktop? teeeeell meeee xD
I use OneDrive and Google Drive to transfer files so I don't have to worry about physical media, just a thought, not telling you how to do your job 😜. GnarBox external storage is also a great device for transferring media.

It is a destop pc but does have wifi built in. Only thing is im not sure where the aerials are for the back. Will give it a go though!
Looks famtastic. Can't wait for the upload. Could you not put your phone into hotspot mode to upload stuff. Or at least use something like Airdroid to transfer from laptop to phone.
