I'm guessing mistranslation, script error, or that they were fighting them AT the Soylent facilities off screen
45:30 if you consider that the wave existence has been manipulating Fei and his past lives for 10,000 years, and Miang has also manipulated Kim and Lacan, Fei is definitely the clear winner (loser?) over Ramsus. Poor Ramsus, can't even be best at having his life steered by others.
43:00 Miang says Kahr is still shaken up from ***yesterday's*** defeat against Fei. If the defeat is referring to his fight against Fei on his way to the Aveh-Kislev peace agreement, that had to have been a mistranslation or serious script error, yeah? Because it feels like at the bare minimum several days have passed. I should hope several weeks or months considering the events at the (multiple!) Soylent facilities. Or is Ramsus shook up over the Elements' defeat? He seems a little too focused on his own traumas to be concerned about his subordinates' well-being... Idk, that line has always thrown me. I hate JRPG timelines, they always seem to go way too fast!
