Well, as a matter of fact she's based on Commissioner Yindel from F. Miller's The Dark Knight Returns BUT that makes an interesting plto for some story.

Then again, I was perusing some other files and she looks a lot like Velma Dinkley, which has a much closer sound to Helen Yendley. After I thought about this, with her glasses, she looks much closer to Velma. Did you create this character as an homage to Velma with the idea that in another universe Velma became a police commissioner? Or maybe you married the characters Harvey Dent and Velma Dinkley together to create a new wholesome character? not sure, waiting eagerly for your answer

Ha, I've thought about it more and her entire name is sort of an anagram for Harvey Dent. I am not sure I am right but that would be cool. Helen Yendley, Heleney Yend, Heleney Den, Harvey Dent

Its amazing Yendley doesn't become a villain herself with all this psycho babble manipulation tactics, that is unless she is a based on a villain and I haven't discovered the play on her name yet. wait,,, could she...be ... a ... play on Harvey Dent... Harvey = Helen,,, Dent is sort of a shorted anagram for Yend
