I'm about 10-15 minutes in and don't know if I can take much more. The dialogue is terrible, the acting is terrible, the casting choices were terrible. Why did they decide to change how names are pronounced?!?! And for some reason at first look, it looks like they tried to give Appa a humanesque face, lmao. This is atrocious.

commenting before watching to say your outfit is amazing and your face is actually well proportioned - you can do bangs or no bangs with ease. as someone with a comically small forehead, i tried bangs for years and it was no good xD edit: lord that was bad, like clearly no understanding of the source material at all. you should use the outfit for Korra if you ever watch it, you can redeem it lol

I wonder what percent of the dialog was exposition. Either way it's terrible. I remember being in the theater in complete awe of how horrible this mess was. It not even a fun bad. It's just awkward and boring. Sorry. I couldn't finish this one with you O.o

As much as I want to watch this travesty of an adaption with you to get your take I can't bring myself to rewatch it. I recently had a bad-movie-showdown with a friend of mine to see who could find the worst movie and this was the movie I chose to show him. I don't think I can sit through it again so soon lol

Oh man this gets even worse the second time you see it lol. I don't know what they were thinking at all. The idea that they were planning to make 3 or 4 of these is insane! - The terrible writing ("We have to show the fire nation that we believe in our beliefs just as much as they believe in theirs") - Firebenders needing fire to bend - The pronunciation changes - Ozai looking like a dork. THAT'S THE BIG BAD GUY?? (Could you imagine how bad the final battle between him and Aang would look if we got sequels???) - The earth benders being imprisoned in a DIRT PRISON - 6 whole ass earth benders doing a whole choreography to slowly move a 15lb rock - The choice to use slow mo and it ended up making the bending and acrobatics look WORSE - Mutant Appa - Sokka not being funny. How tf is his least cringey dialogue him hitting on Yue? I will say that after I got over the initial reaction to Iroh, I saw the glimmer of potential with that actor. Also the Zuko actor seemed to be trying hard, he did okay with what he was given. I just don't get how you don't abort mission halfway through filming this. Like there's no way they thought this was good, right?

yeah that didn't make sense to me because I remember thinking during the show "wow they can just make fire" and then in the show they needed it nearby??? so many things didn't make sense
