Honestly, I saw that too. The wildness felt Fall. My daughter pointed out to me how Joe was far more Spring-like in personality than the hunters of Autumn.

Hard pass for me. I hate politics and when good adventure story becomes court politics story just becouse MC became strong.

I think eventually becoming the king could be fascinating, but if you don't want him to go that route, it could still be very interesting to see him advancing down the path even if you never intend him to finish it.

I think having Joe grow stronger first is the best option. I always knew it was heading towards Joe becoming a Fey Monarch, but I had thought it would be for Autumn instead of Spring. Both work for him, just didn't expect Spring.

sorry to be different but idc when (which could be the first option but it sounded like it could be a "as soon as possible " answer too.) i just like the idea of him AT SOME POINT becoming the king of spring.

I would say yes but not yet he needs to be strong enough. Winter and summer are going to send agents

That’s a hard one to answer without knowing exactly where you plan to go with the story. It could work really well or not at all depending on that. Interim king could be fun even it it doesn’t work permanently though.
