Because he suffered for a long time, why should his enemy's die quickly and not suffer prolonged torment. It would also give Salam a thing to relate to since she is nothing but suffering for a long time

Id think a good way for jaune to persuade cinder that a life of torment in prison instead of murder is a better idea is to use his own imprisonment in the ever after and how long he suffered for his conceived wrongs (in killing penny and not saving the people he promised to protect) as a lesson and shows how jaunes new jaded mind works. It would also show how he's darker thrn the rest of them now and how he could eventually fall into salams clutches.

It seems that Jaune and Cinder are really starting their journey even more, but why do I feel that sword of his is a tracker that Salem listens into, and possibly corrupts and maybe kills him.
