Progress log 3 (v0.4)
🕑 Added 2019-10-28 03:26:29 +0000 UTCWow, a bunch of things have happened, as usual I'll try to keep it brief.
For starters all the events are done (Still need to get done some of the CGs with MisaelDm, but aside from that they are done) and this is how they are spread:
• New POI: +20 Events
• Bathhouse : +3 Events
• PUB: + 3 Events
• Inn: + 3 Events
That's a total of 28 events. I wanted to add a few minor events, but it's probably best to push them to v0.5 or else v0.4 would have to be delayed even further.
Another thing that was finished were the 2 new outfits, pretty exciting outfits so look forward to it!
Then there's the town rework. For a bit of context, every 3D asset currently in-game has been done entirely in Unity, unfortunately there's not that much stuff at your disposal so your options are quite limited, and because of that I always wanted to learn an actual 3D modeling program, that way I could make assets with a higher quality in a shorter amount of time.
Long story short that's what I did, so for the past 10 days or so I've been studying and learning how to use Blender and I must say, it's been pretty fun, and the results in the town rework have been pretty exciting.
The stuff I know is still kind of basic, but that's really all I need to know for Hana's Exposure since the game's art style is pretty simple. I'd say the town rework is about 60% done. For now all I can say is that it's looking faaar more colorful, livelier and less deserted.
And because of that the Beta will unfortunately be pushed back a bit more (I know delays suck, but it was a necessary one... sorry ;-;).
That's about it, I'll be back real soon (I'm thinking in a week) with a look at the reworked town and a final release date for v0.4.

I was actually going to offer to help myself. I use Houdini and can output lots of geometry thanks to the procedural nature. Just build the procedural building and output as many as you want.

It's a bit tempting since there's still a handful of things to get done, but at the same time it would feel kind of wrong to make use of a player's free time, so I'm not really sure...
