The Morse code thing does happen. A friend of mine is a substitute teacher; she went into a 6th grade class (US: 12 year olds) to administer a test. After a few minutes she said to the class "You all need to stop cheating." Many protestations of innocence were made. She said "You asked for the answer to #12. You told him C. You said the answer to #15 was D. I am an General class ham and can send and receive 20 words per minute, you guys are only doing 5."
