I’m not sure Riley’s standards are that high. Her vendetta against Olivia is more about entitlement and jealousy. She believes Olivia is rising above her station and standing out too much. Whereas Riley and her friends are ‘entitled’ to the attention as well off members of society, and are more discrete about their affairs.

On second thought, this is actually quite problematic if Rebecca thinks her stallion is hers alone. If Pete is cheating on her with Olivia, that's some serious betrayal and fully justified anger towards him - but if she also gets mad at Olivia by extension when the latter didn't know he was involved with someone....
