DCL Development - Update

Has it also bothered you how a seemingly significant part of Skyrim's good citizen seems to be kinky and yet there is no hangout for them where they can meet likeminded people and have some fun!
Now there is!
The Dollmaker's sister has just opened a new establishment in Riverwood called The Whip and Chain Inn! A place where whips and chains aren't considered out of place, but part of the experience! This inn is unlike any other in Skyrim, and other than ale and food offers other services for the kinky adventurer! For starters, there are several merchants licensed to do business in the Whip and Chain. If you are looking for some new toys, chances are that you're going to find what you're looking for there! You're more into games? You came to the right place! The inn features a parkour where you can play with a dozen different furniture devices. Want to try escaping one? The game master will be happy to lock you in! Don't worry, if you can't escape on your own, she will eventually release you. The best thing is that you will get rewarded for participating! Even if you don't actually escape. Prefer wearable restraints? There is an escape game for these, too! Try and escape that straitjacket dress and get rewarded! And if you are brave, you can allow staff to tie you up in random devices even they don't have a key for. If this all sounds too adventurous for you, why not relax in the playroom, where helpful attendants will cater to every need you might have, including a good spanking or playing when restrained. Both male and female entertainers are available, and if you think one playmate isn't enough, you can also play with more than one!
If you have misplaced the key for your bindings and need some help, a skilled locksmith is on site and will be able to assist you. She can remove most generic devices you accidentally might have get stuck in. Her services are not cheap, though.
Rumor has it that the proprietor of the establishment even has a secret stash of generic restraints keys she might be willing to sell you for traveling purposes. You never know when you might need one! Her prices are probably outrageous, but hey, at least she admits to it!
State of development of this feature is feature-complete. Which means it's done and just needs fine-tweaking and testing.

I have added a few bugfixes to my development version of DD 4.4, but I try to avoid working on multiple mods at the same time, if I can avoid it. Right now, I am very focused on DCL 9. :)
At this point, I don't think it would conflict with a lot of mods. Since its theme is a bit less than mainstream, the Whip and Chain Inn set up in a basement under the Riverwood Trader. There are no big open world structures that could create a lot of issues.

I wonder, maybe putting it on the another side of the river would work ( by the waterfall ), there is food shop on that side in ETaC and SOS shop by Shlongs of Skyrim but there is still space closer to waterfall and can be accessible by the path left from the bridge , leading to Black Falls Barrow.

Holycow this update sounds perfect! Just what i need to complete my kinky playthrough! A place to relax and get kinky for awhile after hours of dungeon crawling and questing. I'm new here so im unaware of the development process, but are you also working on DD 4.4 alongside DCL 9.0? I'm asking cause i'm interested whether DCL 9.0 will also bring in new restraints and gear to play with! Thank you very much for your hardwork in making this awesome mod, i can tell this passion project was built with the labor of love! Please continue what you're doing!
Hey, dear Kimy! First of all, it's very nice to read some words from you and know that you are inspired enough to keep working on your mod. It warms my heart and as always, thank you for your work. Second. For a long-long time I wanted to report a small bug in DCL but was always forgetting to do it, so I want to make it here while I remember about it and also while I'm sure you will read it. It's about slave long gloves that require 4 arm keys for taking off. The bug (or maybe just a small illogical thing) is hidden in the taking gloves off mechanic after they have been locked behind your back by a padlock. As soon as it happened, you need only 1 arm restraint key to take these gloves off. If I remember right, previously, when these gloves were locked behind your back, you needed 1 key to unlock them and then 4 more keys to take gloves off. But now, everything you need to do to take them off is just to lock them behind your back with a padlock and then take them off with only 1 arm restraint key. I guess it doesn't suppose to be like that. Hope you will look at it. Oh, and looking forward for the update. It sounds very exciting :) Anyway, hope you will have a nice day!
Good question, really. I guess the reason why Riverwood is kinda popular for mod content is that it's getting discovered quite early in most people's games, and that it's a "neutral" town for Civil War purposes. In other words, it's accessible. I could actually move the location quite easily, if people have a better idea?

As much as I love the new update, the inn being in Riverwood is a downer for me. It's such an overused village for added content that I have to ask.. why Riverwood over other places? :)
