Tim, I can’t understand why we can’t develop an airplane that takes off at an airport goes up to the atmosphere and then rockets kick in? Is there just too much gap in the atmospheric pressure‘s and the conventional engine would quit working before it got to the proper orbit? Seems if we blast those Mega-newtons from a tanker took off at an airport. Once it hit the atmosphere the Rockets kick in?
