I like their approach. Compared to past proposals it makes you think "You know, this might actually work!" Contrast that with the late Aughts proposals where "If NASA's budget miraculously became like it was in the heat of the space race..."

Tim, I signed up a few weeks ago to support you. I enjoy some of your “corny”(Iowa!) humor, but keep up the good work! From ‘63 to ‘71 I built S-1C subassemblies for Boeing in New Orleans, and also test fired all S-II stages at the MS test site. I visited Boca Chica in December to get a selfie of myself & S/N 8’s nose cone to show my friends and family that I’m still hoping to see our return to the moon! At 1 point in that career I had my head stuck into the Apollo capsule up on top of LP 39B! I’m now almost 88 years old and been through Apollo 1; Challenger & Columbia, and I’m hoping to still see us land on the moon! Somehow I think Space X will be the first to actually do it!

Nice one, I was 6 yrs old when my Dad stayed up all night watching Apollo 13 ... I have vague memories of St Peters Square full of people praying for it's safe return :-) Being able to watch SpaceX build is just great :-) Thank you all

I just became a patron yesterday. I really enjoy your enthusiasm for the subject matter. You get me as excited as I was at 7 years old in 1978 when we pulled in to the Kennedy Space Center and I saw that huge Saturn V laying on its side. Things I never thought to see are starting to happen in the space exploration scene and I can't wait to find out what is next!

I thought the order was great. I was kinda iffy on whether Hayabusa 2 or Chang'e 5 should switch places, but they were both incredibly impressive and definitely the #2 and #3 spots. According to TMRO, the Venus discovery lead to NASA focusing on creating a flagship Venus mission within 72 hours of the results being publicized, which is pretty incredible in and of itself.

I just watched your annual awards program... glad to see how inclusive you are about the earth’s advances in space science... but are the Russians doing anything besides losing the contract to put US astronauts on the ISS?

Think REX mission was more amazing then China moon mission but agreed should be up there near the top !

I have a quick way to set up a moonbase using the same components as a space station...

Looks great! I didn't hear any weird things. Interesting you put Chang'e 5 on #2, I agree that it (and the Chinese space program) deserves quite some credit.

Space X must not need much to land on the moon or Mars, since they have made the vehicle real now. So ,there must be room for a second contract it seems. I don't know. sorry eh, cheers, Peace Tim eh!!!!!!!
