Death Stranding - HDR Optimized Settings
🕑 Added 2022-03-15 16:56:31 +0000 UTC
The game is NOT using/applying Playstation HDR Calibration app settings.
The game has a good HDR implementation but using different numerical values than nits and a reference image that will show a different luminance compared to real gameplay luminance.

If you have an LG OLED and:
> you're using Dynamic Tone Mapping or Dynamic Contrast:
- Set HDR Luminosity slider to: 100 (which is around 3.000 nits; Max)
> you're using HGIG:
- Set HDR Luminosity slider to: 45 (which is around 800 nits) or 55 (for G2) or 75 (for G3)
If you don't have an LG OLED and:
> you don't have an HGIG option:
- Leave HDR Luminosity slider to: 55 (Default; which is around 1.000 nits);
> you're using HGIG:
- Set HDR Luminosity slider to one of those values and the corresponding real Peak HDR Luminance of your TV in "nits":
