Path of Exile 2 - HDR Optimized Settings
🕑 Added 2024-12-08 09:29:31 +0000 UTC
The game is NOT using/applying Xbox, Playstation or PC HDR Calibration app settings.
The game has an only decent HDR implementation as while there are no black levels issues and it can reach up to 2.000 nits on average there is no in-game Peak HDR Luminance control but only an overall gamma slider along with an UI luminance slider.

For this reason Dynamic Tone Mapping is recommended but if you have an LG G3/G4 or any other 1.500+ nits TV, HGIG should also be fine or even preferrable.
In all case leave the Scene Brightness slider to its Default/0.0 position as it already represents a balanced exposure/gamma while decrease UI Brightness to -3 to avoid image retention or burn-in on OLEDs.
Enjoy :)

Hi, I can't find a guide from you for what to input for the Windows HDR Calibration app for the C2? Is it 0,800,800,0? In that order?
P40L0
For increasing brightness you may use ColorControl via PC to unlock Peak Brightness High in Game Optimizer and then set OLED Pixel Brightness to your preference (but don't overdue or you'll risk burn in) For colors' luminance there's nothing you can do.

Hey man off topic but I'm using c3 oled with FMM ALLM is there anyway to make game optimizer on the same level as FMM especially in SDR cause the difference is pretty noticeable even if the settings are the exact same
Omar
Okey great, thank you!
P40L0
On LG OLEDs only Black Levels from 49 (DTM) to 50 (HGIG) and Fine Tune Dark Areas from -2 (DTM) to 0 (HGIG)

Do I need to change anything else in my gaming picture settings if I switch from DTM to HGIG?
