-Fine Tune Dark Area -3: this will only work when VRR is active (it will be ignored with VRR: Off or not actually working) to compensate a gamma flickering (with consequent black levels raise) bug which plagues all LG OLEDs with VRR. Fine Tune Dark Areas at -3 will basically offset the flickering and raise without introducing visible black crush (even down to -5 actually); -Black Level: Low on the TV could also be called Black Level "Limited" or "Standard" depending on the model. On all LG OLEDs is always preferred using RGB Limited + BL: Low/Limited/Standard first of all as they're all internally calibrated with that on all modes including SDR: this because except Windows/PC, web browsers and professional graphics apps, ALL TV Shows/Movies and Games are created/graded with RGB Limited / Standard or "Legal" video range as well, not Full. Last but not least, the Black Level "Auto" setting on the TV won't always work as expected in tandem with RGB "Auto" settings on consoles/devices (eg. PS5 will auto switch to RGB Limited in HDR but the TV in Auto will keep using RGB High), often resulting in black level mismatches (e.g. super raised/crushed blacks). Forcing Limited/Standard/Low will avoid that.

Hi, this question is about your OLED optimization guide. Can you please explain the reason for setting the fine tune dark areas in the game optimizer menu to -3? I also wanted to ask why I should set the RGB to limited on the PS5 and not full, which even Sony recommends in the console options. I also noticed that on my LG C2 that there is no black level option for low. So what's up with that? How am I supposed to change the black level option to low so as to follow your guide?
