Low key considered that possibility as well. I know he won't, because Toby would have Augustus' head on a pike if he showed back up after the radio silence, but could you imagine? X'D

This also tracks thematically considering Eternal Flame and Burnt Bridges are both fire themed titles, and the title of this chapter is First-Degree Burn. Could definitely see this being part of the discussion~

Oh boy. This better go well or civil at least. The last thing Mike needs is for anyone to lash out towards him as he probably already expects. The last time Mike properly spoke to Augustus was in "Burnt Bridges" to discuss what happened between him and Lucy. It's possible he may try to further understand what drove him away from Lucy (once saying to Lucy "your boyfriend doesn't want you anymore" got me thinking about that).
