Thanks, hotbagels! This was a bit of an experiment in structure. I liked having Naveena as the anchor since I felt she represented the type of person susceptible to such ideas, while introducing all the charlatans in relation to her story. Took a while to organize but I'm really happy with the way it turned out! Thanks again :)

I forgot to leave a comment after watching yesterday. All the capillaries on my scalp opened up when i saw the runtime. The video still went by so fast, I was gripped from the beginning. I really admire how you never go through the front door with these stories, introducing us to Nevina, and all of a sudden we're knee deep in charlatans. All of the high strangeness we crave but relatively little tragedy. It's clear these people are accomplished in fasting...wonder why that wasn't enough. Maybe they were trying to duplicate superhuman asceticism rituals/lifestyles displayed by monks of legend.
