Man, I am so far behind! Finally catching up! Its good to see that both Korvus and Serena have matured a hair. At least enough to not try to kill each other.

It'll be interesting to see which way Korvus goes and how he goes. Even if we leave him in Ishaq, I don't doubt he'll reappear in the narrative another time. For a time I wasn't sure if they would end up fighting in the office or not, but begrudging respect and common sense won out in the end, thank the moons! Thanks for reading <3

I like the characterization of Korvus here. He first came off as a guy who got high off his own self-rightousness, now we see that he does have a moral backbone of sorts. While he is i incredibly racist towards humans and Amelia-shaped storms in particular, he is very loyal to the nation as a whole, and despises the rampant corruption here in Ishaq. While i still dont like him, I now hate him less. If he somehow manages somehow have an epiphany about his attitude towards humans, I can see him being a very cool character to have around in the story more often.

That was a fun chapter to read, also fleshed out Korvus character a bit more. Curious how he's might react to the coming chaos that Amelia is already causing. 😄
