MinnMax Community's Holiday Meetup/Toy Drive

Hey, this is exciting! We're proud to announce that we've partnered with Bauhaus Brew Labs in NE Minneapolis for the first MinnMax community meetup! The meetup will be at Bauhaus Brew Labs (1315 Tyler St NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413) on Monday, December 9th, 2019 at 8pm and will be a place to talk about games, friends, and getting better. We'll also try to have a Nintendo Switch hooked up for a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament. One of the most exciting aspects of this is that Bauhaus is connecting this event to their charity drive called Sweet Toys for Sick Kids, so please bring a new-ish toy (not sealed) and you can exchange it for a beer... or a couple of beers if it's really sweet. The toys will then go to a local children's hospital for Christmas.
Since this is our first community meetup, we have no idea what to expect for a turnout. So please click through and register for the meetup on Eventbrite so we can have a better idea of how many folks to expect in Minneapolis. Everybody is welcome, you don't need to be a supporter on Patreon to get in the door.

Yeah I may work for an automotive company thatβs in Lansing thatβs in emergency status as well. I have plenty of pto I canβt use.

Damn I was hoping it would be a Friday or Saturday. I don't have the PTO to use to come out during the week. I will fly or drive out there eventually to meet all of you wonderful people.

This is a great idea, I'd love to attend but I'd have to fly out from Myrtle Beach and just can't financially justify it currently but would definitely enjoy putting back for a big meetup!

I have a bunch of miles saved so I would fly out if it wasnβt winter and I had more time to plan. If meetups are a serious pursuit maybe have several smaller ones throughout the year and one big one in the summer for people willing to travel. π€π
