Set A Personal Goal And Call In To BetterQuest At 7pm Central

Each month we're setting goals for ourselves and we encourage the community to create ones for themselves as well, we'll be taking calls from the High Council Discord channel and talking about the goal you're setting for yourself and reporting on June's goals as well. Then we can check back in at the start of next month!

Hello Cork and Hanson. Sorry I can't make the call today. But I wanted to update you guys. I got 40% better in picking up after myself, but still caught myself leaving dishes lying in my wake. For August, I wanted to write more. I used to write everyday, but after getting a full time job and having kids, I find myself telling myself I'm too busy to write, and then spending time on social media or watching Top Ten videos on YouTube, which then I go down a rabbit hole for two hours and go "yeah I do need to know what the top ten colors of the first Olympic games were." So I want to write at least once a day, doesn't matter what, but just writing something. Can't wait to hear the episode!

Hey y’all I can’t make it tonight, My goal was to stream with my son and then things happened and it turned into relaxing more and not just reacting to things. It was a hard lesson to learn as a father that I came across from streaming with my oldest son that I may not react appropriately to my youngest son when he is upset. But I feel like I have been doing a great job at understanding my younger son more and what he really needs when he is frustrated or upset and not just snapping at him when he is acting out. I am curious if Cork has ever had to learn something similar about himself as a father over the years? These will also be my goals for Aug. Hope this finds you well! Tyler (major panda)
