I'm only 10 minutes into the episode, but god it's good to hear Reiner. As much as I've listened to Minnmax and Ben helming the game informer show, I've still probably heard and read Reiner talk about video games more than anyone else. So sad about game informer, but I'm incredibly grateful for all the memories I'll have

So happy to hear Reiner reminisce and tell stories about the old days. I doubt he'll remember but I played against him and Cork in a Hearthstone tournament organized with the Overblood community and he ended up sending me a free game! Delighted to hear that he's happy and thriving in his new role and still has fun stories to share about GI.

Thanks for this, and thanks Rainer for letting people develop their skills at the platform Game Informer -- in Ben's case, moderation and interview skills. Sometimes it needs adversity to get me over the edge to do something. I've been supporting you for so long now, but the end of Game Informer made me realize supporting you as a Patreon is not only for entertainment, but for supporting those affected by job loss. Gameinformer should be proud, at one point they were top 3 magazine in the entire country. That is an impressive feat. On a good note though, since Gameinformer's closing, all of their magazines are now readable on the internet archives or retromags.
