Cheaper Benefits, New Patreon Goal, New Art, And More!

As always, we cannot thank you all enough for supporting independent games media and a HUGE thank you to everybody who jumped in to support MinnMax because of The Deepest Dive on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. We hope you stick around. We've got a lot to go through, but I don't blame you if you just want to scroll down and check out the new MinnMax banner art from @hugop.arts. MinnMax's Wall of Heroes benefit is now at the $50 tier! Get millions of views for $50!
We want more variety in the image slideshow rotating throughout every MinnMax video, so we're permanently unlocking the Wall of Heroes benefit to everybody at the $50 tier on Patreon rather than $100. It's now only $50 to put any image you want (within reason) on every MinnMax video throughout the month, resulting in literally millions of impressions. We dare you to find a cheaper way to plug your Instagram, small business, podcast, favorite game, happy birthday message, inside joke, pet's face... whatever you want! We'd love for you to try out the Wall of Heroes tier by jumping up to that $50 tier, if you do it before the end of the month we'll DM you on Patreon with a Steam or Xbox code. Your choice.
The $100 tier is now the Wall of Super Heroes benefit, where you can choose to put a gif or short video in the Wall of Heroes slideshow rotation. This also means we're sunsetting the Game Champion tier. It's been a fun ride but it feels like interest is drying up in the benefit, so we wanted to make it something more practical and helpful like the Wall of Heroes perk. If you recently joined for the Game Champion tier and are upset about this change, feel free to DM me on Patreon and we'll take care of it. We'll have one more Game Championship poll next week to close out the run. We do love creating bonus content around whatever wins a Game Championship poll, so never say never to that format coming back for a rare benefit to another tier in the future.
Introducing the Cohort Hootenanny tier!
We have so much fun doing the Game of the Year debates with a big group of us every year, so here's an option to have us get together more often. We're sunsetting the Play Games With Us tier on Patreon and adding a new Cohort Hootenanny tier at $500. If any community member joins the Cohort Hootenanny tier we'll get together as many cohorts as possible to record a fun bonus podcast and share it with everybody in the Patreon-exclusive podcast feed. If multiple people join the tier, then we'll record multiple episodes. We don't expect community members to stay at this tier, but just to bump up on the rare occasion. It'll be a celebration of the community member who triggers a hootenanny and a fun chance to get together for some bonus content.
New Patreon Goal: MinnMax Plays Dungeons & Dragons
We've heard your requests, so if we hit our new Patreon goal we'll get together and stream a Dungeons & Dragons one shot adventure. This will be a handful of us (Sarah, Leo, etc) sitting around a table AND we'd fly in video editor Charles Harte (D&D superfan) to DM the experience. We'll stream this Dungeons & Dragons session if we hit 4,600 total paid Patreon supporters or $24,000 for the monthly total before the end of 2024. There isn't a system in place on Patreon for goals anymore, so we'll just have to manually track this one. If you're looking to help us hit that goal in a big way, might we recommend joining the Wall of Heroes tier for a month?
New MinnMax Banner Art!
Our old banner art for the Patreon and social channels was getting a little out of date, so we decided to shake it up a bit and hired the amazing artist Hugo Pereira to create a mural of us as some of our favorite game characters. We'll be auctioning off posters with this art for charity at the next Give To The Max charity stream. We hope you've been enjoying MinnMax's content lately and that we aren't letting you down as an independent outlet.
