I speak Italian so I can help a bit with the pronunciation! "Ghibli" is an Italian engine manufacturer that made plane engines, which is why Miyazaki likes the word. It's pronounced Gibly with G like Girl. In Japanese it's pronounced Ji-bu-ree with G like Giraffe. Either pronunciation is correct, totally depends on what language you're pulling from. I'm biased towards the Italian pronunciation personally.

You fascists need to re-evaluate Porco Rosso. Shameful. It's Miyazaki's most romantic movie (as in Romanticism as a style, not Romance as a genre). It's got one of the most impressive visual metaphors for grappling with death! JK I love you but for real, self-examine. S-tier.
