Have you ever noticed or experienced something in a video game that you then saw in real life later on with a whole new level of appreciation for it? Years ago, I remember when playing Drive Club I noticed how incredible the dynamic rain physics were in the game - actually floored at the time. Before that game, I would drive around in the rain and not think anything of it whatsoever - but now - I am in absolute awe at how individual raindrops falls on to the windshield or pools up and slides around the hood or brilliantly swishes away with each swing of the wiper blades. Something so mundane but I would never have thought twice about it without being enamored by the physics they implemented in that game.
