They will be doing that for the US, too, but not until May 5th.

Real happy with how Nintendo themselves handled preorders in Europe. They checked all accounts on Online subs and playtime and then sent out invites over a 5 day window. There was no stress putting stuff in carts, just check out whatever you wanted. It was on their own My Nintendo store, the regular stores were sh*tshows tho.

Huh, sounds like we got it easy in Australia. I just checked the JB Hifi website the morning after the Switch 2 press conference, saw they had the pre-order up already, and placed an order with no issues. It remains to be seen whether it arrives or not though, I guess!
