I know im definitely minority but I enjoy longer audios. I love the buildup and anticipation that can really get the mind and imagination going

I completely agree, different audio ideas need different amounts of time spent on them really, but it's still very cool to see people's answers

I picked an answer but I'd also say that it depends on the idea. Some ideas need build up in order to stick the landing, but others can be pretty straightforward and don't need as much anticipation.
