Bonus stuff Arcades major update
🕑 Added 2025-03-23 07:22:30 +0000 UTCHello! I have a major update of the edited Kritical's Arcades for you today.
Once Business & Hobbies expansion was announced I got the idea to open a small business, kind of a "game" club with these Arcades. And here was where a lot of things that needed improvements came to light. So I spent much time trying to figure this out and as a result I made many changes so the Arcades work better including deeper support for WickedWhims and support for Business & Hobbies EP.
Here is the list of the main changes:
Performing the usage interactions of the Arcades can now unlock Adrenaline Seeker lifestyle for participant Sims
This is a blind change and has not been tested as unlocking lifestyles is not a very quick process.
Made both User and Customer interactions tagged as playing for further correct behavior.
Made WW nudity and sex autonomy blocked for Sims using Arcades.
Made WW nudity and sex reactions blocked for Sims using Arcades.
Made the Sim usage interaction fulfills WW sexual desire.
Fixed Sims could jump out of the Arcades and stuck in a weird pose after usage interaction ends.
There is still a chance that some autonomous interactions can cause Sims to jump out, I'm not sure there is a way to get rid of this completely, but at least now they won't get stuck after that and will try to get back into the Arcades.
Added sounds to sex Arcade animations
I suddenly found they didn't have them, lol.
Reworked payment system and added support for Business & Hobbies EP (Business & Hobbies is not required).
Payments now use native game payment tuning unlike the custom one used before, so the game now consider payments as payments and not just a technical adding/subtraction of Sims' money. This means you will see the cost of usage interactions in the pie menu and payments will be taken into account in the small business results.
The payments are now one-time, but still consist of two parts: the larger part goes to the small business (or technically to nowhere if there is no small business), and the smaller part goes to the service girl.
If service girl is a small business employee, her earnings go to the small business (as she she gets a salary).
If service girl is from your active Sim household you don't pay her, but only pay a portion to the small business.
If your Sim is the currently open small business owner, you don't pay a portion to the small business and you also don't pay to the service girl in the Arcade if she is your employee. So you can decide what is better for your business, either to use employees in the Arcades and pay them a salary or to use some random Sims you can "persuade" to strap in and pay them directly. Remember that only Sims with Adulterer, Sexually Adventurous and Insatiably Lustful Wicked attributes can use (get into) the Arcades autonomously even if they are employees.
Note: Sex Arcade shares some resources with Blowjob Arcade, so the last one requires the first one to be installed to work properly, this is how it also was in originals.
Be sure to remove originals if used, otherwise they will conflict.

I don't know about sex animations made specifically for these Arcades, maybe someone made them, I don't know. That notification is from WW sex, but interactions of these Arcades are independent and don't relate to it, although I tried to tweak their behavior so that they would work similarly. Yes, they use the default pregnancy system with pregnancy chance 2% for the protected usage and 20% for the unprotected one. I can try adding this notification to arcades, but I'm not sure if it would be good. Imagine your Sim placed in the Arcade will receive constant notifications every time they got used, what do you think?

A couple of questions. Is there somewhere we can download animations for the Arcade Machines? Also, I didn't seem to get a notification saying my sim might be pregnant when being used. Is this a bug, or does it use the default sims pregnancy system?

It should be "Play Arcade Machine", it worked fine for me. Although I tested it on a small lot that I built specifically for this business and there was not much else to do on it. Anyway, I tried to set things up so it would be considered an arcade game.

Hm... Which business activity triggers customers to use the arcades? "Play Arcade Machine" or "Play Video Games" doesn't seem to work.
