That... is the single worst way his monster moonlighting has ever been described and I love it. I guess he is technically a mercenary too, at this juncture, but is he one of The Mercenaries? Hmm. All seriousness Alyssa is a huge boon to the whole fucking over of Umbrella project Daniel has been pushing. If nothing else, she knows some people.

So after finishing the chapter I'm thinking maybe Daniel will use Alyssa as a way to convince Rebbeca about his "night time activities"? I can't think of a better way than saying he's investigating Umbrella alongside Alyssa, even though he's actually a mercenary, but at least it's a way to ease her into it.

I can't take all the credit for this one. I had some very keen readers mention to me that gunshots are in fact loud. I was shocked, hehe. Which is true, apparently you can get some pretty serious damage just from a single shot, much less a firefight. Thank you though, I'm glad you're enjoying it.
