An engineering note regarding Vectored Thrusting: it is vital that your gimbaling mechanism be designed in such a way that the passive position for the nozzle while under thrust is centered; that is, it takes a force opposed to the main thrust to vector the nozzle. Otherwise any failure of the gimbaling mechanism will tend to throw your rocket wildly off balance, with unhappy results.
