On the Psionics topic: For Tri Tac Games, I came up with the fact that Psi powers operated in the EM band. Brain radio and it provided a reason why when Psionics were tested in labs, they always produced mixed results or failed: The testing equipment interfered with their powers! But because they were able to work out what the frequency range was for the Psi broadcast, a simple Faraday cage was all you needed to make your thoughts safe. Thus any facility that was Tempest Shield rated, was also proof against outside Psi snooping. Of course the Unintended Consequence of this, was that you now had a way to artificially boost the signal, a Psi Amplifier. The other thing I posited was that 99.99% of humanity had some level of psychic power. For the vast majority of humanity, it was a low level empathic ability that created a so-called "morphic field" that bound humanity together. And there were ways to induce a higher level of psi ability, some involved studying under a Psi master, other used chemicals with mixed results, but the one method that seemed to work most of the time was the Venkman Process...
