No more Up Yours
🕑 Added 2023-06-15 15:00:09 +0000 UTCHey, ya’ll. Sorry to bring some bad news for you Up Yours lovers but I have to end the series for real this time.
Reasons:
1. Very, Very Expensive. I mentioned this before, but Up Yours is one of my most costly audios to make. The average cost is around $800 per release.
2. It does not sell well. It is consistently one of the lowest-selling audios I have produced. Which isn’t great considering how expensive the series is.
3. My audience doesn’t seem interested in the series. Up Yours receives the lowest engagement across my social media. Even on my paid accounts. (As of now Up Yours, which is 7 parts, has received a total of 10 comments on Patreon).
So in short, I will not be continuing the series due to cost, poor sales, and my audience’s lack of interest.
I won’t be doing crowdfunding or taking commissions for the series either.
Crowdfunding requires me to do extra work (promoting/advertising it on my social media). I know this sound like a whack excuse, but please consider that I have other projects, audio, scripts, and even another job I have to work on.
I won’t do commissions because even my commission rates can’t cover the cost of producing the audio.
There won’t be anything like a “finale” ep because again…cost.
So yeah, sorry to be a bummer, but I hope you all understand.

Aww, I personally enjoyed it quite a lot. I'm a very new fan (just found out about you yesterday and I'm hooked). I do understand though, great job with all of your effort into bringing our fantasies alive; I'm sure your other content will be just as good ^^

This is so sad. Up Yours is the entire reason I joined the Patreon. While I love the other content- Up Yours was my favorite. I’m sorry that the project has become something so stressful. Thank you for all your hard work on it. You did a great job!

I also respect and understand why their series had to stop--the costs make sense. But also in light of those costs, I am deeply appreciative of how many episodes you did make! Also I know now that patreon comment engagement is important so I'll be sure to do so more often from here on out.
So sadd love my boys and I always hoped they’d get their happy ending but you can’t help how things are sometimes, and your prioritising what you need to carry on, in general and with other series just as amazing as this was to the Up Yours fans <3 cya Percy bye hector

I also enjoyed & frequently relistened to this series very much. Although i'll miss it, I appreciate how much work you put into it and look forward to your other projects.

That's a bummer, but I completely understand. I'm glad you mentioned the approximate cost of one episode, because I had no idea how much it could be. I just wanna say I enjoyed this series very much. Thank you.

Ah I’m genuinely sad now that was such a good series! I get why you have to stop it but I just wanted to say it was a good series so thanks for making it so good!
