The Action movies poll reminded me to suggest Reacher! Amazon Prime, only three seasons but something to keep in mind for the future! Could also consider Daredevil, maybe roll into the Punisher?

I have finally joined for multiple reason but a big one is to hopefully, finally be heard by a YT reactor that The Shield (FX show not the marvel show) NEEDS to be watched. It is a multi award winning Police drama That was on towards the end of The Sopranos and it's last season aired when Breaking Bad started. It really did usher in the era of BASIC cable having HBO level dramas (ya know swearing,violence,nudity all that adulty stuff) Somehow it has just been....lost. Every once in a while there will be a retrospective review on YT that praises it but it seems it never gets talked about. Show had great ratings too. so it is a mystery. Maybe it's the big anti police sentiment in the US now (this show does NOT glorify police, like at all) It stars Micheal Chiklis from The Commish and Fantastic Four (thing) and Walton Goggins from most recently Fallout. It is an insane ride with one of the most AMAZING endings to a series ever. It is really hard for shows to stick the landing BB did it well, others......not so much. The Shield did it. I will try not to be annoying in suggesting but I have been screaming into the void at other youtubers for years to watch it. If you Like BB,The Wire and The Sopranos it is a must watch show.

I'll always be a Trekkie, but Babylon 5 absolutely still holds up and even more so than Star Trek in some ways. The visual effects in B5 are still pretty awesome.

How would it be 8 weeks for the walking dead? Only 6 episodes in season 1. Do two episodes at a time and it would be done in 3 weeks. Great show. Stranger things is on another level though.

i couldn’t tell you why, but i always told myself i will never watch stranger things. i guess maybe part of it is due to netflix starting to operate in purely bad faith and just not really caring for anyone in the cast, but i’ll definitely tune in to it with you guys. i was just thinking of starting the sopranos last week so i really hope to see that one pull through!

i rlly do suggest alternating thru sopranos and stranger things to keep ppl happy once u finish andor, but if that disrupts scheduling or something it makes sense not 2 do it

While I strongly prefer the sopranos, there is something magical about the first season of stranger things. The tone, score, cinematography and acting just blends together masterfully, certainly worthy of all its praise. While the 2nd and 3rd season were inferior to some, I think they hold up quite well, with season 4 returning the franchise to the upper echelon of television shows. Either choice is truly a treat.

Tbh you dont give the other newer shows like The Bear and Succession a chance when you put them up against well know titans such as The Sopranos and Stranger Things. I personally think that newer shows should be on their own list and older established shows on theirs but that's just my opinion.

Early seasons of Walking Dead were really good. Unfortunately I don't think it held up well after a few seasons. Did you see "Goliath"? I think that was pretty good mostly because Billy Bob Thornton is quite an actor. I don't watch a lot of TV though. I've seen none of these other shows and don't have any interest in them. I'll have to stick to the movie stuff.
