I chose to name myself Hezekiah. (Kai is a nickname.) I wanted something that sounded somewhat similar to the name my parents gave me (even though I actually go by "Hezzy" now rather than "Kai" IRL), and I wanted something Biblical. I also liked that "Hezekiah" is far less common than "Ezekiel". My given name was Kyla, and my entire life I was called either Kayla or Kylie. So, it feels fitting now that I constantly get called "Heh-zee-kee-uh" (like Ezekiel) rather than the proper pronunciation of Hezekiah. Overall, it was the absolute perfect name in every regard.

If I had to pick my own name I'd want it to still honor my ancestors, so either, Spanish, Basque, or indigenous. I'm assuming I'm keeping my last name which is Spanish, but for first and middle names: from the Basque maybe Anaia (Brother), or Orain (Now, the Present); for Huichol (my great grandmother was full blooded Huichol, spoke the language wore the clothes etc.), Taiyari (Our Heart). So my new name is Orain Taiyari ____, Or you can call me Joe.
