NEWS: Fantastical Multiverse 1.1 Update Progress
🕑 Added 2023-09-06 06:34:09 +0000 UTCFinally finished remaking all my templates for production for race customization and creation. This will greatly speed up the production and fixes. As before it's harder to know what hair is what UUID without going through like 3-4 different files. Now I have them all named, and all the visuals are sorted including beards. Here are some highlights while I was spending most of the day building this. In addition, I sorted eyes and skin colors as well to speed up making races have their own unique looks!
- 152 Hairs will be able to choose from some are new, and some are like modified versions of the vanilla. All of them WORK for all body types, unlikely to work for Beast/Monster creatures though. The beards I have should def work for Bugbear though.
- Bugbear will have hair options finally. Lol
- Presets have been fixed from when Sleep deprived me was making dumb mistakes.
- Mass-producing new presets should be a lot faster and easier now that I have the templates set up to give me the body types I need so I don't have to completely work from scratch. This is super helpful for Tiefling of the same fiend lores, Genasi of the same element, etc.
- Dodge has been fixed and I've released a small hotfix on Nexus that addresses the Shove, Dodge, and Jump issues people have been having and a solution for Jahira till I get this version out the door.
- In addition, I've fixed things like Moroi Blood Inheritance and now Bites for Dhampir & Moroi will regain HP equal to the damage you deal! Rather than another random amount rolled being what you recover.
Tonight I should have all the hair, beards and some more presets for the races knocked out. :)
I also will be working on changing visuals for race abilities along with fixes for abilities. Eladrin's Fey Step is fixed, and all the issues are resolved with it but it desperately needs a visual overhaul now that I have access to all these different visual effects that should have their Fey Step looking amazing!

Ah great to hear thank you for the information 👍

It is, but isn't going to make it in update 1.1. It likely will be something that is released in 1.2 or 1.3.

Random question is fairy still in development if not I understand you’ve done amazing work already

I'm listening to your suggestion and waiting for 1.1....but damn is it hard....excellent work!

Oh, just wanted to ask for a roughly estimated ETA on when we can expect this update so i can plan my days for nonstop BG3 gaming XDDD

Cool beans, I looked right past that part of it. Thanks!
Dungeons N Souls
1st one is if you want Jump as a free action, the 2nd one is if you prefer BG3's jump other than that, they are the exact same thing.
Clemmy
One file includes changing jump back to how it is in vanilla, the other keeps it as a free action. The hotfixes are the same otherwise.

Hey! Which of the two hotfixes should I download? They LOOK identical, but they were uploaded separately (09/05/2023 at 10:27 PM, and 09/05/2023 at 10:30 PM).

A lot of my homebrew races are getting reworked/revised. Either due to me not liking the concept for it usually due to imbalance, or I feel it can be written better. So that's why I haven't written anything on them. 1.1 will change all of them to the final versions they will be. Then I'll be adding written descriptions and documentation on all the races, not just mine so you will know what your picking.

I had a question about the Crepusriel race: I believe it was at lvl 3, they got a new passive/supposed toggle feature. It says nothing, and can't be toggled however, so I have no idea if it does something or what it's supposed to do. Is this also something that got fixed, or was already known? And if not, could this get fixed/clarified later? And a note in general: it could be nice to get a bit more info about especially your own races, and then specifically what features they might get at higher levels. I for instance, didn't know the Crepusriel would get anything at lvl 3, but then when leveling up, it did show a tab for the racial abilities (even though it was empty and the above problem then followed)
Dungeons N Souls
Yeah, it's included in the templates I made forgot to mention that lol.
