NEWS Major Update Patch #4 & Fantastical Multiverse
🕑 Added 2023-11-02 20:40:51 +0000 UTCSo far I just tested the basics and everything still seems to be working after Update Patch #4. Haven't had time to work on the mod in the past 2 days because of college making me work in a team and our server project being deleted by a random student. :)
Here is some general information on the project though:
- Patch #4 doesn't seem to impact anything with Fantastical Multiverse, going to try to finish up some races tonight and have some updates but trying to get my college stuff sorted first.
- The new update from this point on will be called 2.0 if you haven't seen the news already.
- Known races being added to 2.0 are Human Variant, and Revised Human, they won't impact the NPC's in the game. Hobgoblin & Lizardfolk will be included. Might be able to squeeze in Warforged but because of the model it might be easier to hold off for them till after.
- Expect to see news updates soon for Downcast, Human, Firbolg, Avariel, Ogresh, & Yuan-ti hopefully tomorrow. So long as no more college interruptions happen. :/

Human was actually already there. But I took it down when Larian removed Select Passives, same with Lizardfolk and Hobgoblin. Was just to much to fix when I was trying to rush 1.0's update. Alot of races that are "new" are races I had finished the passives for in EA but was waiting for official for models to use as start points.

Haven't said much because I need to now tweak the way they get spells but it will be similar to how Downcast now has there's basically once I regained the ability to use SelectPassives I could finally have it work exactly how 5th edition works. Likely going to start wrapping them up after the group that is listed above is finished. The skin texture Genasi previously had is removed for now. Going to convert that texture into a tattoo in a future update after 2.0.

Exciting news! Though sorry to hear about the school project setback. For new races would it be easier to release 2.0, then add them in individual patches specific to those races? Or do them with the other updates?
