Fantastical Multiverse [1.0] Player Help
🕑 Added 2023-12-12 19:18:28 +0000 UTCFor those who are from 1.0 and use 1.0 but are trying to get their old playthroughs or use a mod to change your race and then remove 1.0. I might have come up with a fix but I don't have a 1.0 playthrough so I am trying to see if people can confirm this solves the issue.
Right now I'm not uploading this to Nexusmods until I know it solves the problem so I will keep it here, and Ko-fi for free till I know this fixes the issue.
NOTICE
- 1.0 Playthroughs will still need to keep this file in their old save playthroughs. This is a method to remove the old file from your game.
- Don't need this if your game is a 1.5 and above playthrough.
- This doesn't provide any of the 1.0 content other than the script files that were in here so no races are in this. It will completely erase all the races so you will need an individual file to fill in the gap if you're using a race from Fantastical Multiverse 1.0 that isn't vanilla.
- This is compatible with 1.5 it won't damage those races or any other race mods you use.
What does it do?
TLDR; It is a dummy file. It will trick the game into thinking you have Fantastical Multiverse (1.0) installed.
It has the UUID that Fantastical Multiverse uses so it will replace 1.0 and read as 1.0 did but it has nothing actually in it other than the Mod Fixer that was originally included in the file which is why I think your game doesn't load after you remove it. The file is seen as an essential file for your playthrough which results in the infinite loading screen when it's removed from your save playthrough. You should be able to keep this in your save game as there is nothing in it that will modify any races or anything like that but it will be able to be read and allow you to access your game without all the damaged races in 1.0. Then you can load Fantastica Core and the 1.5 individual files you want to add to your game.
How should your load order look?
- NRD_KillStory (Or ModFixer)
- Improved UI
- 5E Spells
- Any other mods you wish to add in your game or had in your game
- Fantastical Multiverse 1.0
- Fantastical Core
- Fantastical Dhampir (Or Any race(s) you want)
What if I am a race that isn't included in an individual file?
Probably should wait till that update is out or change races till that race is out, there is a change race mod on Nexusmods but I don't remember what it's called.
How would I go about using this?
- Make sure you use it after you either change your race or have the individual file installed that contains your race.
- You likely will still have to go to Withers to re-edit your character because I redo the entire heads of each race with the 1.5/2.0 update so you lose your face choice likely.
- After you change race or load the game with the individual file you will likely need to save, then exit your game, replace 1.0 with this file, and then reload your game.

Ok, I unfortunately don't believe there is but I can also make the hot fixes dummy files and that way it's not really taking space or doing anything other than stabilizing your 1.0 playthrough.

ok, so after testing a few : - having fantastical hotfix in your load order means you have to keep it too or else the save won't load - it does seem to work, i have replaced the fantastical multiverse 1.0 with the dummy and save still load - not sure if there is a way after that to remove the dummy file
