🕑 Added 2024-03-10 04:26:12 +0000 UTCCreature Type
You are a Humanoid.
Implementation
Implemented as described by RAW, no deviations.
The full list of dialogue tags you will get is based on the origin race you select.
Size
You are Medium or Small. You choose the size when you gain this lineage.
Implementation
Implemented as described by RAW, no deviations. However, currently, there is a way to select your size other than the vanilla body types. You still will count as Medium.
Speed
Your walking speed is 30 feet.
Implementation
Implemented as described by RAW, no deviations.
Ancestral Legacy
If you replace a race with this lineage, you can keep the following elements of that race: any skill proficiencies you gained from it and any climbing, flying, or swimming speed you gained from it.
If you don’t keep any of those elements or you choose this lineage at character creation, you gain proficiency in two skills of your choice.
Implementation
Implemented as described by RAW, no deviations.
Deathless Nature
You have escaped death, a fact represented by the following benefits:
You have advantage on saving throws against disease and being poisoned, and you have resistance to poison damage.
You have advantage on death saving throws.
You don’t need to eat, drink, or breathe.
You don’t need to sleep, and magic can’t put you to sleep. You can finish a long rest in 4 hours if you spend those hours in an inactive, motionless state, during which you retain consciousness.
Implementation
Implemented as described by RAW, no deviations.
To properly implement you not needing to breathe I provided immunity to the following statuses in-game currently:
- Suffocating (SUFFOCATING)
- Poisonous Fumes (POISONED_CLOUD)
- Nauseous Fumes (STINKING_CLOUD)
- Noxious Fumes (BIBBERBANG_FUMES)
- Ghastly Fumes (STENCH_GHAST)
Knowledge from a Past Life
You temporarily remember glimpses of the past, perhaps faded memories from ages ago or a previous life. When you make an ability check that uses a skill, you can roll a d6 immediately after seeing the number on the d20 and add the number on the d6 to the check. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Implementation
Implemented as described by RAW. The bonus d6 is added before seeing the number due to how BG3 mechanics work. Everything else follows RAW. You can use this trait by using the following:
- Toggle on the Trait's toggle passive, this way it triggers passively and is only used if triggered by an ability check.
- Action expends the usage as soon as cast but is primarily for NPC interaction. The skill will show up right before you are about to do an ability check using a skill.
